Ascendance Academy is a place in the Sutherland Shire where kids of all ages shapes and sizes learn to do dance and acrobatics.

This is a Sutherland Shire studio where creativity, individuality and self-expression is encouraged and has a community of teachers, students and families who are passionate about performing arts.

 

Below Are The Classes On Offer:

 

Tiny Stars

Tiny Stars is the perfect introduction to the world of dance and acrobatics. A fun, colourful class for our smallest dancers. A place they can grow, learn, have fun and make friends. 

Level 1, 2-3 Years
Level 2, 4-5 Years

Recreational Stream

Our recreational stream classes available include Contemporary, Hip Hop & Acrobatics. There are no set levels for Recreational classes – they are open to everyone regardless of whether or not the student is experienced or starting out as a beginner, and separated by school year group.

Through dance and performing arts we develop skills, build confidence and most importantly… have fun. Recreational classes perform just once per year, at the big Ascendance Academy end of year concert.

Performance Stream

Our performance stream classes are for kids who want to excel in dance. We offer a variety of dance classes including Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Performance Troupe and Solo’s & Duo’s.
